+6 Direct Damage
+72 Max Ammo
x0.2 Acquire Lock Threshold, x2 Lock-On Range
+1.3° Acquire Lock Threshold, x1.5 Lose Lock Threshold
+10m Lock-On Range
+20% Damage to Electrified Targets and +20% Damage to Burning Targets
Lock-On now prioritizes low health enemies, and will only place as many Locks on an enemy as are required to kill it.
+3 Penetrations
x0.85 Lock-On Time
+6 Max Number of Lock-Ons
Targets with 3 or more Locks are Electrocuted by the first Locked-On bullet that damages them. The Electrocute DoT does 12 Electric-element Damage per Second, slows enemies by 80%, and lasts for 3 seconds.
Full Lock adds 20% more Direct Damage to all shots fired during the burst.
Every time you release a Lock-On burst, the last bullet fired emits an aura of Fear to all enemies near you. For every bullet fired during the Lock-On burst, add 0.15 Fear to the aura (ranges from 30% Base Fear Chance at 1 Lock to 375% Base Fear Chance at 24 Locks). The aura's radius starts at 2.4m and each bullet fired during the Lock-On burst increases it by +0.15m (ranges from 2.55m at 1 Lock to 6m at 24 Locks).

Loadout Guide

Seeker OC, SMRT Targetting and Fear Frequency combo LOK-1.

Seeker adds a boost to the Lose Lock-On Threshold, which with Macro Lens reducing the Lock Acquired Threshold, it allows you to precision paint targets one after another and maintain the locks at wide angles.

It's just like laser designating targets for a bit until you run out of locks, then firing off a barrage while knowing you'll hit everything you designated.

Story version:

This is a target designator build. Imagine yourself painting priority targets downrange with a narrow laser target acquisition window. Your targetting computer can maintain locks at wide angles, and it's able to calculate precise trajectories to hit these locked-on enemies in weak spots even if the trajectory is over steep terrain or around thick armor.

The targeting computer is SMRT enough to know how many locks will kill a target. You won't waste CPU time maintaining a lock that won't end up resulting in a fired round. Simply move on and designate the next target in a chain if you notice the computer stops applying additional locks. This ensures you will fire a lot of bullets per burst, and not waste locks.

As you fire off a burst, the bugs get increasingly frightened as they witness the stinging carnage. When the last bullet fires any nearby bugs will run away in fear. This is in vain, because that just makes it easier for you to paint more targets.

Short version:

With fear frequency, for each bullet fired per burst, you boost both the fear effect and it's radius. This triggers on the last bullet fired.

Fear Frequency doesn't require full lock to work, it just gets better the more bullets you fire. SMRT ensures you fire lots of bullets.

Seeker OC means your bullets ignore terrain and armor. It helps the build not waste bullets. There's no need for trick shots, just designate targets, fire and forget. It even works on Oppressors.

The fear effect on the last shot in a burst will help give you some room if enemies have snuck up on you while you were designating targets.

I recommend you build your secondary for close-range engagements to deal with packs of grunts or swarmers. This is a mid-to-long range LOK-1 build.
