"Warthog" Auto 210
Breach Cutter
Loadout Guide
This build is designed to give you two things:
- A fully automatic, high-ammo primary weapon that you're not afraid to spam at any range
- A high damage area-denial choke-point OR anti-praetorian / anti-oppressor secondary weapon
This has been tested in Haz 4/5 and EDDs. Plasma-bursters are recommended for your grenade option so you have more swarm-clear potential. The utility items are your call, you do you.
The shotgun is designed to have extremely low recoil, fully-automatic fire, and high ammo. It's possible to go full-auto and stay on target easily. However, it's perfectly capable of firing single-shots to take down Macteras or similar if you tap-fire.
Use the shotgun liberally. You have lower damage due to the Mini Shells OC. However, you have so much ammo and such a large clip you make up for it with your rapid, sustained fire.
This shotgun has armor-breaking because you'll be using it a lot to attack just about everything from anywhere due to the limitations of this breach cutter build. The first several rounds in your clip will take the armor off your targets which makes the rest of your rounds more effective.
The breach cutter is designed so that you can create spinning-death choke-points that completely obliterate any incoming swarmers, mactera swarms, or grunt swarms, however, with this build you don't sacrifice potential versus big boys like praetorians or oppressors at all.
This breach cutter will stun anything (but Oppressors) that it's plasma line touches, turning it into a death trap. The persistent plasma it generates stacks more DOT, so it synergizes with the stun-locking. Persistent plasma and "Prolonged Power Generation" also synergize by extending your total area-denial time per breach round.
This works wonders against praetorians! One spinning death shot (with this build) is enough to trap and kill a praetorian. However, you may need to fire off a few rounds in an area to deal with Oppressors since they're immune to stun.
As a final note, we take "Improved Case Ejector" in tier 3 because the other mod in this tier is useless with spinning death, and we need it anyway because we have a small breach cutter clip. It's not a problem that you have only 1 round in your clip due to the tactics of this build. You usually won't need to fire off more than 1 spinning death inbetween reloads.
