This minigun requires you to stay at the razors edge on your heat meter to be ready to use your Aggressive Venting at a moments notice as your overclock ignites anything still alive near you. this can be great to take advantage of temperature shock on a group of frozen enemies or to burn away whole waves of swarmers. you barely even have to spin up to trigger the close range cone of heat so go crazy with it. your pistol only helps you with spike damage with volatile bullets letting you chunk hp out of praetorians.

-The minigun had its tier 5 mod, Aggressive Ventig buffed this update, further increasing its utility. If you dont know, it fears, ignites and keeps all enemies around you away for a good few seconds when you overheat and now with the shorter cool down period for the overheat you can get back to shooting much faster. The uses for this are especially apparent on escort and slavage where getting bugs away from you is even more useful since you cant really leave the area. Combine this with your Volatile Bullets bulldog and you've got insane kill potential. Of course, the verion in the video with Hot Bullets is just as viable but Ive taken a liking to this new set up myself. I added a bit more ammo and some more stun potential (which also got buffed) to help make this one not too ammo intensive since youll be using a lot to trigger the effect. If I need something ignited at range I simply use my incendiary grenades.

-Volatile Bullets got a buff too, so you pretty much have no excuse to not use it unless you and your team are not running any fire. Its base damage got increased so its still great outside of shooting burning targets but that also means that its whopping x3 damage modifier is even more potent on burning weakpoints. Use it. You won regret it.
