Changes the Subata to fire in bursts of 2 bullets at 20 RoF during the burst. If both bullets hit an enemy, the second bullet gets +350% Armor Breaking. Additionally, -0.25 Mass and -4 Rate of Fire.

Shooting an enemy that is afflicted with Corrosion, Sludge Puddle, or Neurotoxin will apply 2 Status Effects. The first one lasts 5 seconds, and each bullet that hits will increase the DPS by +3.2, up to a maximum of 30 stacks (96 DPS). After its duration expires, you must apply a new instance and start stacking it again. The second Status Effect lasts 4.5 seconds, and its duration can be refreshed. If an enemy dies while the second one is active, then they will explode and damage nearby enemies proportional to the number of active stacks of the first effect. The explosion does (60 + 20*stacks) Typeless Damage, and the radius is (0.5 + SqRt[stacks]) meters.

Loadout Guide

  • All Rival Tech enemies die instantly upon reaching max temperature and cannot be frozen - this loadout takes advantage of that fact
  • Increased range to facilitate combat against Tentacles and Patrol Bots
  • Increased heat to reach max temp faster
  • Faster flow rate to counteract FSD's downside
  • More ammo in tier 4 as none of the other perks really benefit this build
  • Either choice in tier 5 works but I personally prefer Heat Radiance
  • FSD as Overclock for maximum range possible
  • Secondary choice is up to you but I personally prefer TCF EPC for area control, Full Auto Subata is also good for contributing chip damage to caretaker if there is nothing else for you to shoot
  • Combat Drills and carve C4 help to widen arenas and deal with trash mobs to save ammo for your primary
  • Always prioritize fighting Rival Tech enemies with this loadout and try to use your secondaries/drills for defending Hacksy.
  • Don't shoot the Caretaker's eyes with the CRSPR. Hose down the Tentacles, Patrol Bots and whatever else it spawns so your teammates can concentrate on shooting the eyes
  • I think burning Patrol Bots prevents you from hacking them but that's hardly a loss
  • Remember to listen to the Ridge Racer Type 4 OST whilst playing and dab on Cryocrutch users who whine that Driller sucks in Industrial Sabotage because they can't spam Tuned Cooler builds to win
