When the Heat Meter is greater than 50%, you can press the Reload button to manually activate the Overheat mode. When used in this way, Overheat's duration gets multiplied by x0.65, and also scales with the current Heat level (50% Heat Meter = x0.5 Overheat Duration).
When the Heat Meter is greater than 50%, the Rate of Fire is increased by +5 (up to a maximum of 20 RoF).

Loadout Guide

the drak is scout's best option on his primary for swarm clear, with its high, sustained firerate. tier 1 is up to you between high-volume plasma feed and stronger particle accelerator; however, the projectiles are notably sluggish without the projectile speed increase. it pairs best with a boltshark built for taking out high value targets, like acid spitters and trijaws, with t2's broadhead bolts and t3's reinforced string.
