Driller, protector of Lootbugs
* Note I do not advocate ever TK a teamate unless you are on a voice call with them and you are friends *
I was on Karl.gg home page today, and saw that there were no driller builds in the popular builds. With this build, I hope to rectify that. Driller is one of my favorite classes(granted theres only 4 so they all kind of are), and I want him to get some build love. If a teamate kills a lootbug, maybe they should perish too..?
CRSPR
This crspr build is focused on being a less stick addative focused sticky flames flamethrower. This allows you to take range in T1, one of my personal favorite mods in the whole game
The mods
T1: B (Range). As I jsut said, I love this mod. A 50% range increase is nice with anything(most weapons this is less recoil and spread), but on the CRSPR it also creates a larger area of damage and heat build up. Additionally, it lets you set up sticky flames from farther away, nice little bonus too. T2: C (Sticky Flame Duration). The extra duration is needed for a sticky flames build, especially one running additive over sticky fuel. The heat build up from sticky flames is usually just as good, if not better, then the heat from the flamethrower itself. This is because it overrides a bugs innate cooling and casues them to instead heat up. T3: B (Sticky Flame Slow). A sticky flame build needs the sticky flame slow. It keeps the bugs in your flames for longer so they burn more and your team(or secondary) can shut them down. The extra ammo can be nice but I am more of a slowdown fan. T4: C (Sticky Duration). More duration means less having to spread the flame. This helps with ammo economy and is nice. T5: A (Heat Radiance). More heat is more damage, which is nice. The exploding option is fine, but the radiance mods are really good. OC: Sticky Additive. It is not as all in on sticky flames as Sticky Fuel, but it still is nice.
The Rest of the build
It is all personal preferance, as long as you do not take the perk "It's a bug thing".
