Loadout Guide

Another semi-experimental build, this build is named after Lazy Maybe's desire to convince Mini shells " enthusiasts " that their overclock is genuinely a bad pick. But let's be honest, the real reason why I dedicate the build to Lightweight magazines is because thanks to the extent the community went into mitigating Engineer's lack of self-defense, there aren't a ton of overclocks that goes under the radar. Even the secondary is fairly known, which I will get into.

Warthog Auto-210 Mods Breakdown

In Warthog setups, all but Tier 2 need no explaination. This build doesn't run Cycle Overload, so Turret Whip is once again the choice for Tier 5, Armor Break doesn't exist due to the way pellets interact with armor break, Tier 3C takes the cake because the gun has an excellent reload cancel - plus Tier 3A only matters again on Cycle Overload - and Tier 1A has always been a better pick than Tier 1B. The reason why we take the ammo mod on Tier 2 is because we want to achieve the benefits of Mini-Shells (big ammo pool) without the downsides of Mini-Shells. Which is to say, no stun, cannot one shot grunts to the face and being a liar whenever claiming its good for total damage.

Deepcore 40mm PGL Mods Breakdown

To complement Lightweight magazines, RJ250 compound provides Engineer decent crowd clear and the ability to grenade jump, which absolutely requires Disabled Inertia Inhibitor. And if you do want to land into glyphids without getting eaten alive, Tier 4C has you covered, allowing you to escale the glyphid nest while they are stunned for 3 seconds. Tier 1A facilitates getting slowed down by the blast and Tier 2A/3A are there for making the PGL do PGL things.

Equipment Breakdown

The platform gun demands Repellant Additive, which is so powerful it is regularly described as engineer's single biggest contribution to the team. The turret setup ommits faster deploy because since we are at it with big ammo pools, why not also making the sentries have more to play with and the grenade choice if Plasma bursters in order to provide Engineer additional pushing power should the Warthog Auto-210 not be enough.
