Loadout Guide
This is for general use as well, single player or multiplayer (tried it on both)
Primary | Secondary | Other |
---|---|---|
Damage taken Tier1 but you can take any kind of upgrade you want there. | Can use electro minlets as a standard point and shoot (mostly for regular enemies) | Shield generator can take tier one for shields sooner, longer lasting shields and third tier take area if with teamates or either the tier 3B or 3C (preferable B since you'll be moving around the dread for hitting weakpoints) |
Armor break taken tier 2 since it helps with dealing with big armored enemies (which is most big enemies) and helps with shedding armor off of the twins and the glyphid dreadnoght | If you want to double down on single target damage, you can take mole/triple tech chambers or elephant rounds. This makes you vulnerable to regular enemies though, so make sure you have teamates for CC | For pickaxe I took serated edge since you only get close few times and when you do you want to do lots of damage. Great for picking off enemy armor IF they are really close to you |
I took faster fire rate since you want to have high burst damage up close the get away to not be hurt from the boss. the clip size is good to take as well but you can usually reload while running away and kiting the boss | tiers 1,3 and 4 allow proc'ing more electricity on the swarms easier if there are any | For the armor you may use any shield upgrades but NOT tier 1C since you don't need deeper pockets for dreads. Same with tier 4B and 4A since you dont want to b reviving allies near dreads in the first place. Take tier 1 B (improved generator) for the armor if playing with teamates but either way it is not too strict with your choice. |
Took weakpoint bous for tier 4 since after getting rid of the armor you want to do lots of damage to dreads. It may seem strange but taking armor and weapoint bonues makes this gun able to handle bosses and big enemies like praetorians by itself. Feel free to take area damage if you want more general damage | Tier 2 just take whatever you want except tier 2A since this gun makes spreading the minlets more evenly with higher recoil instead of shooting the minlets all in one bunch in one area | The zipline really does not matter but if you want to have ziplines for teamates to hang on for whatever reason during the boss, taking tier 3A for more shield migh be better. honestly ziplines can be grabbed last minute if you might take unavoidable damage. Every other upgrade is up to preference |
I took stun for one reason. There is not much of a reason to get nitro in C or fire damage in A while stun is nice if youre dealing with non dread but big enemies by stunningthem if they have just a tiny bit of health left. The inaccuracy of the eapon also healps stun nearby grunst to be stunned whihc helps the side arm preapre its minlets | Take stun in Tier 5 as stun helps with stopping distant enemies that have ranged targets or use stun at an enmy with tier 1 blowthrough to stun them just long enough for the minlets to preapare and proc the enemy | For throwables sticky grenades might be good if you didnt take armor break for the primary and can stick it to big non-boss enemies to target weak-points on the targets after they turn around in fear. Usually though lead bursters would be the best. Molotov and cluster are if you want more CC if youre using this as a general build. |
