When the Heat Meter is greater than 50%, the Rate of Fire is increased by +5 (up to a maximum of 20 RoF).

If there was an argument for playing a pure, vanilla experience, it would be the ludicrous power of TEF. Simply mod in an optic to negate the finniky nature of trying to keep your gun from frying you're rewarded with some of the highest sustained dps in the entire game, up there with the minigun. Macteras, spitballers and anything else with a weakness to fire stands gets vaporized. Its such a powerful gun that you don't even need a secondary to help kill things, which is why this boomstick is speced entirely for utility. Special powder is a bit tricky, but masterting it is like having a second grappling hook. The high stun potential that T3A and T4A provide help keep enemies at bay as well. The Pheremone Canister is the cherry on top of this corny build; Throwing it at a group of enemies is tantamount to pausing the game to revive a few teammates, play the objective, or just kill a few key targets.
