Loadout Guide

One of the weapons builds I made for the "Revisiting Elite Enemies" blog post.

GK2 is another weapon that doesn't really excel vs Elites, but it's not too bad either. If you're not a fan of M1000 Focused Shots, then you'll probably want to use the GK2 on Elite Threat missions. The best thing it has going for it is the ability to get Weakpoint bonus and Armor Breaking at the same time, which will really help vs those Elite Mactera Brundles. Its innate Weakpoint stun isn't very useful vs Elites, even with the T5.C upgrade, so don't rely on it to keep you safe. Pretty much every Mod and Overclock will work for the GK2, I would just recommend avoiding Electrifying Reload. That was one of the first weapon builds I tested, and although the 6 second 80% slow certainly was nice, it took away too much DPS for my preferences. T5.B is another kill skill, so I wouldn't recommend equipping it vs Elites.
