Cool down enemies within 4m of you at a rate of 60 Cold/sec. This stacks with the direct stream and Ice Path's cold sources as well.

Charged Shots now deal their Direct Damage to enemies hit by the projectile while in-flight, but it no longer explodes upon impact (functionally removing Area Damage). Deals x3 damage vs Frozen targets. Additionally: x0.3 AoE Radius. Regular Shots do [5 plus 25% of their Direct Damage] Heat per shot which can ignite enemies, and 70% of the Charged Shot's damage is converted to Fire-element + Heat.
Shoot the Charged Shot with a Regular Shot before it impacts anything to make it detonate for 240 Damage and carve terrain within a 3m radius. Additionally: x0.8 Heat per Regular Shot and x0.8 Heat per Charged Shot.
Regular Shots now do 10 Fire-element Area Damage in a 1.5m Radius in exchange for -10 Direct Damage.

STRATEGY

  • During the Escorting Sequence(s), throw down a Stun C4 after Dotty on the trail that Dotty has carved out.
  • When enemies begin spawning in, throw down a Neurotoxin Grenade and surround the Tunnel in spirals of Sticky Ice.
  • Detonate the C4 when enough bugs get stuck in the Neurotoxin Cloud. The rest of the bugs will die to the Sticky Ice, or the Neurotoxin Effect while stunned.
  • Use Persistent Plasma TCF to clean up stragglers.

NOTES

  • Do not throw Neurotoxin Grenades directly on Dotty during the Heartstone Boss Fight (unless you are on solo). This will be a huge hazard for your team, and you risk them potentially not being able to defend Dotty.
  • Throw Neurotoxin Nades over cliffs where your team cannot see, or far away from the Heartstone near a corner.
  • Utilize Stun C4 very carefully. Make sure to not hit any teammates in the blast radius.
  • Persistent Plasma TCF is not required, but recommended. You can substitute this for Boiler Ray on the Wave Cooker.
  • Most people prefer 31132 on the Cryo Cannon for faster freezing, since the Sticky Ice Overclock is affected by cold and damage mod upgrades. This comes down to personal preference.
