Special Bolt: 15 Direct Damage, 10 Area Damage, 9 bolts, 10 sec effect duration. If you hit an enemy, it will have its movespeed slowed by 30% and be hostile to other enemies for the duration of the effect.
Special Bolt: 15 Direct Damage, 12 Area Damage, 9 bolts, 14 sec effect duration. If you hit an enemy, it will take 10 Poison Damage per Second for the duration of the effect. If it dies while it still has that status effect active (or is killed by the status effect), then after a 1 sec delay it will explode for 165 Explosive Area Damage in a 4m radius. The explosion also Stuns for 1 second and inflicts 100% Base Fear Chance.
Special Bolt: 15 Direct Damage, 10 Area Damage, 12 bolts, 12 sec effect duration. If you hit an enemy, it will have its movespeed slowed by 50% and take an average of 16 Electric Damage per Second. If you shoot a second Taser bolt within 6m of the first one, an electric beam will arc between the two bolts that slows enemies by 80% and does 30 Electric DPS. Taser Bolts are not retrievable.

Loadout Guide

DRAK-25

Aggressive Venting - A lot of the times as a Scout while playing on Point Extraction or Egg Hunt missions you will find yourself quickly overrun when trying to mine into the wall or organic tissue making the fear and aoe damage from AV (Aggressive Venting) quite valuable.

T1A - Faster fire rate which means faster heat generation which means faster AV triggers.

T2A - I would say more ammo is worth taking over damage for this Drak loadout so you can get more AV triggers.

T3C - You are going to be overheating contantly and Hot Feet combos nicely with Fear effect from AV.

T4A - Gives DOT to the Drak, effectivly making it more ammo efficent.

T5A - Lets you cool the Drak at half triggering AV and Hot Feet more frequently.

Strategy for DRAK-25 - If you are getting overrun by bugs (typically grunts, guards, slashers, and swarmers), shoot the highest health bug you can find (normally a guard or a praetorian), hit 'R' at halfway and escape.

Nishanka

The Specialist - (Personal Preference) Gets you a greater quantity of longer lasting Phero Botls. This can easily be swapped for Cryo or Fire Bolts instead.

T1A - Inflicts the increadibly useful status of pheromones.

T2C - More Phero Bolts.

T3A - (Personal Preference) Lets you swap between normal and phero bolts faster allowing you to use normal bolts to take out HPEs that the Drak may strugle with.

T4B - (Personal Preference) Lets me retreive missed bolts easier.

T5A - Longer lasting Phero Bolts. I would take Banchee Module, but it is just woefully underpowered at best giving around a 15% chance to inflict fear onto grunts (slasher and guards) in a 3m raidus, thats closer than a dwarfs melee range.

Strategy for Nishanka - Shoot the highest hp bug with Phero Bolts (preatorians and oppressors get you the most value, but a guard will work in a pinch).

Side note - If the mission has Volatile Guts, always shoot guards with Phero Bolts as when they die it will normally be enough dmg to kill at least 1 bug, chaining to kill the entire group with a colorful yellow explostion (this is really fun to do)

Grappling Hook

T1B - Longer reach

T2A - Only choice

T3A - (Personal Preference) I find that the instant connection has gotten me out of more situations than the faster graple speed, but both are viable.

T4C - Faster charge since I didn't take Improved Recharger

Flare Gun (T1A T2B T3C and T1B T2B T3B are the exact same)

T1B - Longer lasting flares (more useful in multiplayer as I find I normally spend more time in rooms with more dwarfs).

T2B - +1 Flare and you can animation cancel flare firing to get close to the same speed you would get with Supercharging Feed Mechanism.

T3B - More lightbulbs.

Light Scouting Suit (this is the combo I take on all my scout loadouts accept if I'm using SBB)

T1C - Hold more minerals.

T2B - More health means more minimum health (the part you are resed to).

T3A - Only choice.

T3C - Lets you do badass stuff like jump off a cliff to get health without using your grappling hook (more relavent to classes other than scout).

Pickaxe

T1A - Only choice.

T2C - Faster charge attack = faster mining.

Cryo Grenade

Usefull to get rid of Mactara and combos nicely with AV for temp shock. Can be replaced with Pheromone Canister if you are taking Cryo Bolts on the Nishanka.
