Every kill subtracts 0.6 Heat from the Heat Meter (maxes at 9.5 Heat) and thus increases the firing duration before overheating
After the Heat Meter turns red, 50% of the Damage per Pellet gets added as Heat which can ignite enemies.

So with the release of the Tactical Leadburster I noticed that you could have a bulletspraying option for each weapon slot. That's what this is, and it's surprisingly versatile (at least as versatile as Gunner gets). Minigun to help with hordes (especially if you have gotten good with tapfiring near high overheat). The BRT is to help deal with the big guys of various flavors, especially if you manage to get behind them. The Leadburster is a tactical option that can do insane damage depending on how you use it but honestly I have it thrown in here just to fit the theme of "crap tons of bullets"
