Special Bolt: 15 Direct Damage, 10 Area Damage, 9 bolts, 10 sec effect duration. If you hit an enemy, it will have its movespeed slowed by 30% and be hostile to other enemies for the duration of the effect.
Special Bolt: 15 Direct Damage, 12 Area Damage, 9 bolts, 14 sec effect duration. If you hit an enemy, it will take 10 Poison Damage per Second for the duration of the effect. If it dies while it still has that status effect active (or is killed by the status effect), then after a 1 sec delay it will explode for 165 Explosive Area Damage in a 4m radius. The explosion also Stuns for 1 second and inflicts 100% Base Fear Chance.
Special Bolt: 15 Direct Damage, 10 Area Damage, 12 bolts, 12 sec effect duration. If you hit an enemy, it will have its movespeed slowed by 50% and take an average of 16 Electric Damage per Second. Loadout Guide

Hello miners! this build is in my opinion the best overall build for a scout, take it anywhere anytime and KILL. also its fun...... Lets do (drumroll please) the breakdown.

Deepcore GK2: 21212, AI stability engine, you will be so accurate you will make a laser jealous and hit like a truck. all the nodes go to rate of fire and dmg, you dont need accuracy or recoil, the OC got you on that, use this weapon to take down priority targets, Praetorian, Wardens, Sniper Turrets, Menace (you are the real menace now) etc, AIM FOR WEAK POINTS, hook behind them shot from behind and see just how fast you melt them, also take strong pickaxe power attack and finish them with it, save your ammo especially on oppressors. also the rolling oreo, once open shot at tip of the tail or between the eyes, trust me.

La crossbow: 11112, Bodkin Points, clear the bugs and make the bugs clear the bugs for you, this will be your bread and butter for waves and its glorious (sob). arguably the Taser Bolt synergizes better with this build, but you have the Sweeper for this and the pheromone dart feels better to have if you have too many big boys, pop them with a pheromone arrow and LET THEM FIGHT! Magnetic Shafts are very very VERY good, the boomerang electrocute many bugs, and the bow deals more damge to them, also it will make the arrows act as homing missiles so aiming is optional. tip: dont take ammo over damage in node 2, with dmg one arrow will kill a group of bugs, with ammo it will almost kill them and youll need to shot again, making you use more arrows in the process.

Granade: Voltaic Stun Sweeper (Boomerang), this is not optional!, the cryo is cool (pun intended) IFG is great and pheromone is strong but we have that on the bow, so ye the other granades are good BUT they're no boomerang!

Perks: do whatever, i usually use Thorns, Born Ready, Deep Pockets , also Iron Will (duh) and Heightened Senses cuz i aint no leech lover!

Grappling Hook, Flare Gun and Armor are up to you, this is what i use 99% of the time based on my playstyle, i like lights to last long and i like my hook to reach far and shot out fast to get me out of sticky situations (sometimes literally).

Gameplay: easy pizi squizy the leamon, your main is for big boys and far away enemies, in wave and swarms you throw a boomerang and use your bow, switch as needed, and pheromone as needed and dont save your Sweepers too much, remember, you have 8 of them and its the best thing to use againts jellyfishes and swarmers, also dont stress if you see a lot of Trijaws and Macteras,just Boomerang them and GK2.
