Special Bolt: 15 Direct Damage, 10 Area Damage, 9 bolts, 10 sec effect duration. If you hit an enemy, it will have its movespeed slowed by 30% and be hostile to other enemies for the duration of the effect.
Special Bolt: 15 Direct Damage, 12 Area Damage, 9 bolts, 14 sec effect duration. If you hit an enemy, it will take 10 Poison Damage per Second for the duration of the effect. If it dies while it still has that status effect active (or is killed by the status effect), then after a 1 sec delay it will explode for 165 Explosive Area Damage in a 4m radius. The explosion also Stuns for 1 second and inflicts 100% Base Fear Chance.
Special Bolt: 15 Direct Damage, 10 Area Damage, 12 bolts, 12 sec effect duration. If you hit an enemy, it will have its movespeed slowed by 50% and take an average of 16 Electric Damage per Second. If you shoot a second Taser bolt within 6m of the first one, an electric beam will arc between the two bolts that slows enemies by 80% and does 30 Electric DPS. Taser Bolts are not retrievable.
+25 Direct Damage, +15 Area Damage
+7 Max Ammo
x1.4 Special Ammo
-0.4 Reload Time, -0.4 Ammo Swap Time
x1.5 Projectile Velocity
After killing an enemy, gain +50% Movement Speed for 2.5 seconds
Hovering your crosshair over a retrievable arrow will pull it back into your inventory.
x1.25 Special Effect Duration
Bolts are magnetically pulled towards enemies that are affected by IFG or Electrocuted. Additionally, they do a bonus 25% Direct and Area Damage to those enemies.
When normal arrows impact terrain, they apply 50% Base Fear Chance to enemies within a 3m radius, pulsing once per second for 5 seconds.

Loadout Guide

Well, Electrifying Reload allows us to kill grunts in one shot now, as you can see in this video, so I made this build and it's been great using it. I only play Hazard 5 and 4 players, with randoms, so this build is optimized for that.

The only requirements are: decent aiming skills, ability to perform reload animation cancelling, hover boots perk

Deepcore GK2:

T1A: Most of the time, you don't need Gyro Stabilisation that much because the accuracy is still decent that you can tapfire bugs at long distance, and missing a couple of shots isn't a big deal. Intuitively, you would take T1C Quickfire Ejector. However, with this overclock, you want to shoot a bug once and be sure you hit the shot. Trust me, this build is frustrating if you don't take T1A, and you don't need quick reload speed when you can trigger the overclock by quickly cancelling the reload animation (and reload later).

T2A: I always have to resupply for flares sooner than I run out of ammo on GK2 with this build, so I definitely recommend Increased Caliber Rounds.

T3A: I reload before emptying the mag most of the time and Floating Barrel is nice to have.

T4B: Hardened Rounds if you want to hit armored bugs through armor

T5B: Battle Frenzy only works on kills with direct shots. Stun can be helpful but +2 RoF is just too strong so Improved Gas System

Nishanka Boltshark X-80:

Typical Trifork build, not much to say. Chemical explosion bolts suck, Taser bolts are good for slowing down big targets but Pheromone bolts I find to be most suitable for this build.

For the grenade you want something that can deal with groups of mactera, Cryo nades or the new Voltaic Stun Sweeper are both great choices.

General tips:

  1. Don't be too conservative with your ammo, just spray down Trijaws, Acid Spitters and other dangerous targets.
  2. Don't rely on autoaim from Magnetic Shafts too much, it can be janky sometimes, at least if you're client side.
  3. You don't want to spend too much time shooting bugs on Aquarq missions and this build is perfect for them.

Have fun, miners!
