Loadout Guide

Burning Hell Minigun builds have been used through U32/U33 quite successfully, but U34 has changed the playing field. You can now use Aggressive Venting as the cornerstone for this build instead of Hot Bullets. BH makes you play quite close to the enemies in general, so make use of Dash and your shield should things get hairy.

Lead Storm Build
T1: Improved Platform Stability is my preferred choice as you’ll need to aim for weakspots/heads most of the time anyway with this weapon; alternatively, I know players who efficiently and effectively use Magnetic Refrigeration to help with cooling management when they go almost in melee range and constantly proc Burning Hell’s bonus.
T2: Oversized Drum does wonders for the weapon’s ammo sustain.
T3: Blowthrough Rounds massively improves your waveclear (and teamkilling capabilties, watch out!)
T4: Lighter Barrel Assembly is the clear winner here since you’ll be doing a lot of repositioning with this build and not a lot of stand your ground.
T5: Aggressive Venting halves the base unjam time, making it the new BiS for the Burning Hell build. AV provides massive Fear Factor in a huge area (up to 10m) and 60 Heat, making it capable of killing stray Swarmers/weakened Grunts that have swayed too close. Chain AV explosions with BH are the fun stuff. Hot Bullets can be used here as well.

Secondary: Volatile Bullets Bulldog. Enormous burst damage vs anything set on Fire, it deletes burning Bulk Detonators faster than any weapon in the game. Low ammo isn’t an issue when it does so much damage.

Bulldog Build
T1: We do care about the accuracy in this build, and reload time is negligible for the purposes of this build so selection is clear.
T2: Increased Caliber Rounds to increase the burst damage even further.
T3: Hollow-Point Bullets buffs your damage against weakspots by a lot.
T4: High Velocity Rounds to make the burst even more deadly.
T5: Dead-Eye or Neurotoxin Coating, but Dead-Eye is preferable with our low ammo supply as each shot counts.
