Shoot a Turret with the Shotgun to consume 5 turret ammo and fire a projectile in the direction currently being aimed at by the turret, with a 3 second cooldown between projectiles. Each projectile travels at 75 m/sec, does 160 Explosive element Area Damage in a 2m radius, has a 100% chance to stun for 1.5 seconds, inflicts 1.0 Fear, does 50% Friendly Fire damage, and has 200% Armor Breaking.

After firing a line and a 0.4 second delay, the player can press the fire button again to manually detonate the line dealing 40 Explosive element Area Damage in a 3.5m radius and leaving behind a 3.25m radius sphere of Persistent Plasma that does an average of 35.56 Fire Damage per second and slows enemies by 20% for 4.6 seconds. If the player doesn't detonate it manually, the line explodes at the end of its lifetime.
Leaves behind a Persistent Plasma field that does an average of 20 Fire Damage per second for 4.6 seconds. The Plasma field's width is 2/3 of the beam's width, and extends along the entire length of the beam's path.
Adds a line above and below the primary projectile (multiple lines hitting doesn't increase DPS)

Loadout Guide

This engie trivializes most enemies in the game.

I left the OC for the shotgun blank because either Magnetic Pellet Alignment or Stunner or Mini Shells (or cycle overload) all work fine with the particular upgrades. -M.P.A. is your best choice if you're confident with aiming at teeth & asses -Stunner absolutely Sh'wrecks Goo Bombers, Praetorians etc with its dmg bonus

  • Mini Shells is for the discerning dwarf who wants dakka and not worry about ammo
  • Cycle overload is for orcs.

Breach Cutter slaps no matter how its' built but this particular setup has no fancy bells, whistles, or other gimmicks. It does stupid damage to a stupid amount of targets in a stupidly large area and anything it doesn't kill outright will be stripped naked of its' armor and vulnerable to a decisive double-tap from your shotty.

Couple this with Repellent platforms & proximity mines to turn the swarms in your mission into a tower-defense minigame. Place platforms on the ceiling or floor so as to accentuate corners or constrict bugs' access. Leave your mines on your flanks and let everyone twiddle their thumbs/try to be the first one to shoot the purple ceiling-bois while you stand in one place and unload the breach cutter into the only window the bugs are crawling out of.
