I tried the Smart Trigger OS once. I didn't like it. It goes through ammo too fast and you can't take advantage of bonus proc damage as much.

I prefer Seeker Rounds so I can take advantage of the 20% bonus damage from tier 5B and be able to ignore enemy armor. Doesn't make the Smart Rifle any stronger, but much more efficient and easy to use.
