For those who might think the inferno is really only good in modded difficultly you can see a compassion here
Inferno's negative to beam DPS is not really noticeable, and if you don't plan to spam breach cutter shots, can be very ammo efficient while still having great dps, due alot of things being weak to fire.
Ever since Inferno got buffed, I've been loving it. Similarly to what you said, a lot of things are weak to fire, but pretty much everything can be set on fire (dreads are the exception). High Voltage Crossover is good, but not everything can be electrocuted (like Oppressors and Shellbacks while rolling).
I have yet to take CSP on modded difficulty. I only tested it on regular Haz5 when it was still on experimental and a bit after launch, and I was mostly disappointed by the weapon. The advantages of it is its slow and long range. But beyond that I didn't really see much use for it, besides maybe Elimination missions. I've read and watched a lot of posts/videos showcasing it, and the numbers on paper are promising for sure. But in practice, it just feels too situational.

But like I said, I haven't tested it extensively yet on modded difficulty so I dont wanna form a strong opinion about it yet. Especially because there have been builds/weapons that I've tried before that initially didn't feel that great or stand out when playing regular Hazard 5. But when I took them to modded difficulty, which forces me to really make use of a weapon or a build's potential, then I changed my mind.
So might find a use for it when I do take it on modded, we'll see.
Personally I use disperser compound, with 33212, it allows me to one shot grunts, though I still prefer to charge shot to do crowd control, I play haz 5 on xbox with controller. I enjoy it, but I prefer crisper build of 21231 with sticky fuel overclock, I haven't gotten sticky additive yet, and that is the overclock I think I'd prefer to sticky fuel
I agree with MtDewAndMe on the CSP, although I haven't used it much as well, I haven't figured out its use. It doesn't do a great job with tankier enemies, or so I think, and the Subata feels almost useless when paired with it (Explosive Reload is the exception). But yeah, really situational, probably best w/ 4 players. R&S
yea thanks for the reply. I really have been feeling the same way with it so far, Im thinking of trying VIM as it seems like a good in-between for damage and a bit of slowing. as the biggest problem I have on the weapon is the pubbles last so much longer then the 4 sec corrosion. In order for it to be better then sticky fuel in terms of DOT you need to have then standing in a puddle and soaked, so I find that I need to constantly look back at the puddle I just put down and mid max just for it

to do better then sticky fuel. So it end up taking more of my focus away. Thats what I really do like about it when you are using it in solo. In short why the CSP can do better then sticky fuel, sticky fuel damage and slow are more front loading and the on fire status effect keeps itself going instead when it come to coward, so its less micro managing you need to do
